About Ms. Murphy's Reading Class
Welcome to Ms. Murphy's reading class. This is my third year of teaching 6th grade reading here at DSST-Byers, and I am so excited about the school year! Within 6th grade reading we spend the year bringing ourselves to the page, reading closely, annotating, discussing, challenging each other, and even the author on what we see within a text. What makes reading class deeply rich and wonderful is that there is no limit to what we see, analyze, interpret, and discuss within literature.
